When the ExcelAire team learned about the plight of Dusty, a darling blond pup whose time was running out, they moved ahead to make a rescue that would save Dusty’s life.

 

Dusty was living at an animal shelter in Miami, Florida, hoping to be adopted by a family who would give him a new chance and a home for life. But when no one came along, the unfortunate time was nearing when the shelter would have to euthanize Dusty.

When ExcelAire’s client, Catherine Adler, heard of the situation, she thought it might be possible to save Dusty if the pup could be transported to the Gimme Shelter Animal Rescue in New York, a no-kill shelter near her hometown in the northeast. But how to get Dusty from Florida to New York?  

The ExcelAire team mobilized to coordinate an empty leg flight to bring Dusty to New York for a new lease on life, just in time. The lucky dog was treated to the full ExcelAire experience, and boarded a Legacy 600 private jet to ride to New York in comfort and style.

The best news of all was waiting for Dusty at the end of the flight: A family had already come forward to adopt him from the Gimme Shelter Animal Rescue in Sagaponack, New York. Thanks to the ExcelAire team, Dusty’s journey was finally complete—complete with a happy ending.
