Hawthorne Global Aviation Services has expanded its maintenance operations at the Long Island MacArthur Airport. The company has added a second shift to provide extended private jet maintenance hours, seven days a week.

Ralph Michielli, vice president and director of maintenance, said: “With the increased demand for our maintenance services from our in-house, retail and transient customers, we extended our hours to provide our customers with the added convenience of maintenance services whenever they need them and to minimize downtime.”

 

“With our heritage in aircraft maintenance, this expansion of services further solidifies our position as a world-class private jet service maintenance provider,” Michielli adds.

 

Hawthorne Global Aviation provides private jet maintenance services at its MacArthur Airport location, including airframe and avionics capabilities. It is a factory authorised Embraer Legacy service centre and also has experience in Gulfstream, Bombardier, Falcon and Hawker aircraft maintenance.

 

The Hawthorne facility at MacArthur Airport includes an FBO offering Shell products.
